WHO WE ARE:

The Church of Scientology of Canberra was established in 1980.

It has moved into the city center at 106 Alinga Street. The premises are on the first floor of the Sydney Building, on the east side of Northborne Avenue.

HOW TO GET HERE:

1. We are right next to the Canberra bus interchange. So busing here is simple from anywhere in Canberra. (See Google Maps for more information.)

2. There are many car parks around London Circuit, parking is not hard. During the week days, there is four-hour parking nearby, and all-day car parking further around London Circuit. In the evening the parking is free. On week ends the parking costs until noon on Saturday, otherwise it is free. Parking is free Sunday.

For fast deliveries there are loading zones at the rear of the premises in Verity Lane. But ensure you have a commercial vehicle authorized to park there.

Paid parking off from London Circut is the easiest way to park.

Canberra Staff

All staff are volunteers.
We have two categories of volunteers. The first are contracted volunteers, who volunteer for dedicated hours. The second are public volunteers.

They are:

The Executive Director, Rev Nick Broadhurst has twenty years of Scientology staff experience, and worked in all Australian capital cities. He was staff in Tokyo for ten years, and has also worked with Scientology organizations in most Asian countries. Nick was awarded Nepal's fourth highest King's national-honour in 2004. Nick was a volunteer in Aceh, northern Sumatra, for nine months after the Great Asian Tsunami in 2005, and also worked a Scientology team in Kobe, Japan for three months after the great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995. Nick is a Class VI Administrator.

Rosalie is our management expert, and has ten years Scientology training and administration experience.

Guy is the Organizational Executive Secretary, trained to deliver our Purification Rundown. Guy, who is our longest serving Canberra staff is now trained as a course supervisor.

Renate is the Hubbard Executive Secretary, a very successful Canberra businesswoman.

Bonnie is a Flag Trained Class IV and FPRD auditor.

Mitchell is trained as a Class IV supervisor and word-clearer, and right now abroad receiving further training in auditor levels.

Chris is a counsellor training on his Class III auditor training in Sydney.

Martin is a professional Dianetics counsellor, and delivers the Hubbard Dianetics Seminar.

Rowan, with a two- decade-long successful businesses in Canberra and is our estates manager.

Public Volunteers are:

Bill is a Class 5 Case Supervisor and counsellor. He comes with decades experience and is currently the highest technical trained Scientologist on the team.

Harry is the Case Supervisor for the Purification Rundown and has lived in Canberra for decades. He has a lot experience in case supervising the Purification Rundown in China and Australia, and was trained in the USA. He is otherwise a successful Canberra entrepreneur, and businessman in New South Wales. Harry is Clear and was also a volunteer in Aceh after the tsunami.

Richard is a technical counseling consultant with 20 years Scientology experience.

Maggie is a technical counseling administrator with six years Scientology staff experience.

Matt is a course supervisor, trained in the USA, with twelve years staff experience, and a successful musician. Matt was also a volunteer in Aceh, Indonesia, after the tsunami.

Our staff and consultants are successful Scientologists and business people. They are all here to help you.
